National WREATHS across AMERICA Day
December 13, 2025
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 5,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
Join us by sponsoring a veterans’ wreath for Florida National or a cemetery near you.
The summer of 2006 a group of U.S. veterans came across the Wreaths Across America website and realized Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL had not been registered to receive wreaths. The U.S. Military Vets M/C with pride and ambition hosted the wreath laying ceremony that same year to honor their fallen brothers and sisters. We began small with 7 ceremonial wreaths, 40 people in attendance and pouring rain for our first ceremony. We have led with honor and pride to what our event is today.
The Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine helped form Wreaths Across America which opened up individual wreath laying to cemeteries across the nation in 2007. Joined by the Civil Air Patrol and a few other sponsoring groups, we were able to place 88 remembrance wreaths on the graves our second year. In 2024, volunteers helped us place 27,500 remembrance wreaths.
Our goal by 2026, will be to adorn each and every grave and honor our fallen heroes at Florida National Cemetery, with your support and sponsorships.
